Susan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Training & Development Certificate from Boston University, and is enrolled at Coach U. She created her first business in 1993, purchased a second in 1994, and by 1996 had created a nationwide network of customer service training organizations. Her client list includes Siemens, Advance Transformer (a division of Philips), Holmes Products (Rival, Bionaire, White Mountain, Patton brands), Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Simplex Time Recorder, Northern Telecom, Mitel Communications, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, American Consumer Credit Counseling, and Worcester Medical Center.
Throughout her career, Susan has authored over 15 training programs and recently published a book on things you can do while recovering from an illness or injury, titled, “198 Things to Do From Bed” (available on www.amazon.com). The outstanding reviews of this book inspired Susan to create a telephone coaching program on how to implement the concepts into a rehabilitation program to nurture the mind and soul during recovery.
Susan’s passion is finding out what people really want in their lives and then challenging and supporting them to go get it by aligning their activities with their vision through creative choice. Her personal mission is “to be a lifelong learner who helps others fulfill their dreams though teaching, coaching, and mentoring” and she fulfills that through her business as well as volunteer work with The Boy Scouts of America, GENAustin, and Hospice Austin.
A member of the International Coaching Federation and Board member for the local Austin Chapter, Susan adheres strongly to their code of ethics. She also serves on the Board for the Metropolitan Breakfast Club and the Advisory Board for Team-Ready.
